Our plan is to study the fun facts about each state, one per day. We want to learn about culture - famous people, music, food, art, festivals - as well as geography, famous land marks, and reasons to visit each state.
This whole project actually began because of a box of Zatarain's Gumbo Mix. Vega decided he want to learn about Lousiana, so the kids each picked a state and started to write a report. But low and behold...report writing get boring and the internet can be evil when you are looking for specific information. That's when we decided to switch thing up a bit. Now we are are making our own 50 States book and this blog to boot.
